The Charcoal Konjac Sponge is a beautifully soft 100% natural konjac fibre sponge with a porous texture when moistened in warm water. Designed for use on its own or with your favourite cleanser to help gently, yet deeply purify and exfoliate the skin. Suitable for face and body and all skin types. Cotton hanging string for airing. Biodegradable.

How to Use

1. Soak the sponge in warm water for a few moments until it softens and expands slightly in size.
   
2. Squeeze gently between the palms of your hands to remove excess water.
   
3. Using circular motions, rub the sponge over your face and neck, concentrating on dry or blackhead-prone areas. Avoid the eye area.
   
4. Rinse thoroughly with clean, warm water and hang to dry.
   

TOP TIP: if using together with a cleanser, apply a small amount of cleanser directly to the sponge after soaking and proceed in the same way, but avoid the eye area.

Caring for your Charcoal Konjac Sponge

Konjac sponges are made from natural fibers and porous, so it’s important to keep them clean and free from the residue that can accumulate from removing make-up, or from using the sponge with soaps and cleansers.

After each use, rinse thoroughly with clean, warm water. Avoid twisting the sponge as this could cause the natural fibres to break. Rather squeeze out the water by pressing between your palms.

Finally, hang to dry – preferably in an area with good air flow that isn’t humid. You could even pop it into a sealable container or bag and keep it in the fridge!

TOP TIP: it’s recommended to disinfect your sponge every 2 weeks. To do so, pop it in very hot (not boiling) water for a few minutes before rinsing and hanging to dry.
