Unniyappam is a traditional snack from Kerala, India. It is made from rice flour, jaggery, banana, cardamom, and ghee. It is usually served as a sweet snack or dessert. Unniyappam is shallow fried in ghee in paniyaram pans until golden brown. It is commonly consumed as an evening snack along with tea.
